which offers something a bit different and is definitely worth a visit. Deserved finalists for both bridal and menswear national awards, Vow Bridal Gallery offers that all important friendly yet expert approach that is vital to making your visit a true experience.
Last time we visited Lisa and Dave at Vow, they were stocking an absolutely stunning range of designer names including pieces from; Madeline Issac-James, Sanyukta Shrethsa, Terry Fox, Ramani, Private Label by G, Diane Harbridge, and Flo & Percy Accessories. They also have an exclusive menswear area for the groom and groomsmen.
Occasion Dresses : Frocks
Situated in the small town of Thrapston, about 12 miles from us, Frocks' ethos is spot on - they sell beautiful things from a beautiful location.
Frocks stockdresses for all occasions, whether they're for a black tie event, a prom, a wedding, a cocktail party, or even a new day dress.
We often refer mother of the brides to Karen at Frocks, as they have a large mother of the bride range. Frocks also stock a large range of day dresses, ideal for weddings or a day at the races, especially when teamed with an eye-catching hat or fascinator.
Jewellery: Fired! Silver Clay
Based from a home workshop in Oundle, approx 5 mins away, Caroline Hawkins is a close friend to Harrington Hats, and has often exhibited alongside us at shows and craft fairs.
Caroline is a Silver Clay Artist who uses nature to inspire her designs. She produces amazing one-off pieces of jewellery, featuring delicate, intricate and detailed work. Her work uses onIy the finest only silver and Stirling silver, with occasional use of porcelain and other interesting clays to create amazing bespoke creations.
Caroline creates small 'runs' of ready made designs which are kept in stock, although usually takes on individual and bespoke commissions. If you need a piece to enhance an existing costume, or indeed compliment one of our hats, Caroline is most definitely your person!
Jewellery: Harpur's of Oundle
A Stalwart of the Oundle High Street, Harpur's has been in place in it's current guise since 2002.
Providing a very different jewellery experience for the public, Harpur's tends to steer clear of the High Street norm and feature items by individual makers, either as one offs or limited runs. They also make their own jewellery and offer a full bespoke commission service.
If you're in the area, we thoroughly recommend a trip to Harpur's to find something unusual and distinctive.
